R.Automatic konstruerade och levererade en helautomatisk patchcell, bestående av 3 hängande hanteringsrobotar och 2 stående svetsrobotar till Gestamps fabrik i Luleå. Där har den producerat ”around the clock” sedan 2014.
Cellen var en helhetslösning och inkluderade ABB-robotar, egentillverkade robotvertyg, styrning till såväl robotsystemen som överordnad PLC och säkerhet och det fysiska skalskyddet. Systemen var skrivna i ABBs Rapid, Beckhoffs Twincat3 och Sicks Flexisoft Designer.
Robotcellen har nu i sin helhet flyttas till Gestamps fabrik i Louny, Tjeckien.
Vi var på plats för att kontrollera återmonteringen, undervisa personalen i hur systemet är uppbyggt och trimma in laserzoner för att säkerheten ska fungera i den nya miljön. Uppdraget att CE-märka cellen föll också på vår lott.
